County Asks Residents to Weigh In on Proposed Trail Extension

Bucks County is preparing a study to determine the feasibility of establishing a trail along the Upper Neshaminy Creek, extending from Twin Streams Park in Chalfont south to the Forks of the Neshaminy in Rushland.

The Neshaminy Creek Greenway Trail could soon extend into the upper portion of Bucks County, and county officials are asking residents to weigh in on the planning process.

Officials are discussing extending the trail along the Upper Neshaminy Creek, taking it from Twin Streams Park in Chalfont south to the Forks of the Neshaminy in Rushland.

An overview of the proposed trail route will be presented at a public meeting on Jan 28. County officials are encouraging members of the public to attend and weigh in on the project.
