Business Brief: Local Builder Has New Management Team

Bensalem-based Orleans Homes named new COO, CFO and controller.

Bensalem-based Orleans Homes, one of the country's oldest continually operated homebuilders, has announced three individuals to serve as the new management team alongside George E. Casey, Jr., President and CEO. The team will oversee the company's business operations in 66 communities throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey and four other states. Orleans employs 170.

Joining Casey are Dean Amann, who has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer; Marek Bakun, who has been appointed to Chief Financial Officer; and John Evans, who has been named Corporate Controller.

"The combined talent and experience of our new management team puts this company in a positive place to move forward," said Casey. "We're anxious to begin a new phase of development, both for the company as well as our customers, that demonstrates the company's focus on providing a pleasant, personal experience for our homebuyers and our commitment to creating neighborhoods, not just homes."

Founded in 1918, Orleans Homes builds single-family homes, townhouses, and condominiums that range in price from the upper $170,000's - $1.5 million. It is currently operating in 66 neighborhoods in ten distinct markets.
