Council OKs Condo Conversion Plan

A former warehouse could be sectioned off into several smaller businesses.

A former Bensalem warehouse used for manufacturing operations officially got the go-ahead to parcel off its space Monday night.

The Bensalem Township Council unanimously approved a condominium conversion plan for a warehouse situated within the Bridgewater Industrial Park at 1436 Wells Drive.

Township attorney Joseph Pizzo said the council had previously authorized the "condoing" of the property and said Monday's action would "ratify that action."

Council President Ed Kisselback told Patch that the warehouse owner–recognizing that manufacturing operations were "not feasible"–had sectioned off several different portions ranging in size for other business purposes.

The move was "more in tune" with the business climate, he said, calling the decision a "good business move."

According to Loopnet, two 15,000-square-foot spaces and a 12,000-square-foot space are available for "immediate occupancy."
