Holiday Inn Express Holds Grand Opening
Though the new Holiday Inn Express has been opened since December 2012, its official grand opening will be Thursday.
The new Holiday Inn Express will hold its official grand opening on Thursday.
The hotel opened for business after renovations on Dec. 18, but the grand opening ceremony will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday.
"We will have food catered by DiAntonios and entertainment by Chris Carter Acoustic," according to Lisa Lento, director of sales for the hotel.

As if you need more motivation to go to an event than free refreshments and entertainment, the hotel will have a drawing and give away an Apple iPad Mini. Additionally, it will be an opportunity for the community to see the changes that were made.
Another hotel chain—the Hampton Inn—was located at 1329 Bristol Pk. before the building underwent renovations to open as the Holiday Inn Express, Lento said.

"Before December 18, everything was completely renovated—from the exterior, to all new carpets, furniture, televisions, bathrooms, and a new great room," Lento said.
The hotel has 141 rooms and is still managed by Growth Properties.
