Parx October Table Games Up Nearly 10 Percent

Parx Casino in Bensalem had close to a 10 percent revenue boost in October table games as compared to October 2012, according to the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.

Parx Casino had a $923,097 increase–just shy of 10 percent boost–in its table game revenue in October as compared to October 2012, according to the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.

Statewide, Pennsylvania's 1,015 table games at its 12 casinos posted 9.5 percent in revenue increases, totaling $60,550,993 in October, up from $55,296,643 the same time last year, according to the board.

The revenue boosts also shows $8,681,186 million in tax revenue that was generated from table games this October.

Coupled with figures on slot machine revenue released earlier this month, overall gross gaming revenue from both slots and tables increased by 2.4 percent this October compared to October of 2012, according to the board.

Revenue from all casino gaming was a $249,524,178 in October compared to $243,692,416 last October.
