Redbox Rentals: Top 5 This Week

Which of these movies would you like to see?

We know you need a break from the shopping frenzy and figure a movie might do the trick. If you don’t want to be bothered with picking one out, consider this list of the top five most-rented movies in our area, courtesy of Red Box.

Super 8 (PG-13): Rather than try to explain this complex thriller, here’s the official summary - In the summer of 1979, a group of friends in a small Ohio town witness a catastrophic train crash while making a super 8 movie and soon suspect that it was not an accident. Horrible Bosses (R): Just the title alone would get most people to give this one a chance. The story line is like “Office Space” at the next level – Three friends scheme to murder their bosses when they realize their office superiors are, in a nutshell, making them unhappy. Conan The Barbarian - 2011 (R): Hard to imagine this with the Governator and Grace Jones, but here you go.

Bad Teacher (R): Cameron Diaz plays, well, a bad teacher – foul-mouthed, ruthless and inappropriate. When she gets dumped by her fiancé, she targets a rich, handsome substitute teacher. Someone, in all of this, there are supposed to be a lot of laughs.

Bridesmaids (R): Does anyone else think this is some sort of Thelma & Louise take on The Hangover?
