Saladworks on Street Road is Top-Performing Store

Saladworks had major growth accomplishments in 2012, and one of its Bensalem locations was a top-performing store last year, according to a company spokesperson.

"We had an amazing year, bringing a 15 percent revenue growth, [and] a 7 percent year-over-year sales increase," said Mitch Donaberger, a public relations manager for Saladworks.

Though Donaberger said he cannot release specific year-end numbers for franchise locations, but that one Bensalem store is quite successful.

"Our Street Road location in Bensalem is one of our top-performing stores (in our whole system, actually) and grew on track with the company this year," Donaberger said.

Bensalem has two Saladworks locations, with the second located in Neshaminy Mall. 

The Street Road location has been open since August 2005 and the Neshaminy Mall locations opened in November 2004, he said. 

Currently there are no plans to expand in Bensalem, but the company got more than 50 new franchise agreements in 2012, according to a press release, which means that more than 150 franchises are slated to open over the next several years.
