Visitor Center Hosts Bridal Show

Brides-to-be (and grooms too) are invited to Bensalem for a bridal show highlighting some of Bucks County’s best venues and vendors.

On Sunday, Feb. 20, the county’s tourist promotion agency () is hosting the 3rd Annual Bucks County Bridal Show at the , 3207 Street Road.

The show features local wineries, historic mansions, country inns and chic ballrooms, according to a release. There will also be over 40 exhibitors including service vendors, hotels and wedding professionals from venues such as Peddlers Village, Bucks County Riverboat, Crossing Vineyards & Winery and .

“After two successful bridal shows, we are ecstatic to offer brides another opportunity to visit with Bucks County’s beautiful venues and talented professionals in one convenient location” stated Visit Bucks County events manager Heather Walter. “From historic mansions along the Delaware River to 19th Century Castles with breathtaking views, we are thrilled to offer vendors and venues to accommodate any budget.”

And the winner is...

Brides and guests who pre-register are entered to win a romantic Bucks County getaway. All attendees are also encouraged to check-in via Foursquare at the Bridal Show to be entered to win a B&B getaway.

Brides can also give back with an opportunity to donate gently worn dresses to A Woman’s Place, Bucks County’s only domestic violence organization located in Doylestown.

The bridal show runs 2-6 p.m. with a “Do It Yourself” educational seminar at 4 p.m. and a fashion show by Sadie’s Bridal at 5 p.m.

There’s also some good news for the guys.

A new feature of the show this year is a “Grooms’ Room,” which includes the Flyer’s Game, Daytona 500, snacks, video games, cigars and food vouchers from two local restaurants (Dave & Buster’s & ) and much more.
