Rita's to Celebrate 30 Years at First Store in Bensalem
Dignitaries and local media personalities will be scooping samples of Rita's new 30th birthday flavor, Wild Berry Italian Ice, to the first 30 guests in line.
Rita's is hosting a birthday party celebration for 30 years in business today, Wednesday, May 7, at their first Rita’s store in Bensalem.
The celebration begins at noon at 1227 Bristol Pike, Andalusia. A declaration will be made by Mayor Joe DiGirolamo, followed by the Senator's and House of Representative issuing citations officially proclaiming it “Rita’s Italian Ice Day.”

Music will be performed and Rita’s mascot, Ice Guy, will lead the singing of “Happy Birthday” and do the “Happiness” dance, while birthday cake is cut and served.
The mayor along with other volunteer local celebrities and dignitaries in attendance will scoop Rita’s new Wild Berry Italian Ice for the first 30 guests.
