Did You Witness the 'No Pants Subway Ride?'

Philadelphia is one of dozens of cities around the country that took part in an annual pantless tradition.

Today, Sunday, Jan. 13 was the Global No Pants Subway Ride.

This will be the 12th year for the event organized by Improv Everywhere.

The No Pants Subway Ride started in New York, but has branched out to other cities. (Check out the Improv Everywhere YouTube video of last year’s New York event in the upper right corner of this post.)

People of all ages and underwear choices take part in the event, as shown in the video.

Philadelphia’s No Pants Subway Ride has its own Facebook page, which gave details on what to do to participate in the event, which took place from 3-5 p.m.

It also advised participants to, “Please wear underwear. This isn't the naked bike ride.”
