Schools:

  • Delaware Valley College
  • Holy Family Regional Catholic School

Bucks County:

  • The 7 branches of the Bucks County Free Library (Doylestown, Quakertown, Perkasie, Langhorne, Bensalem, Yardley, and Levittown) will be CLOSED Tuesday, October 30, 2012.
  • All non-essential Bucks county government offices are closed again Tuesday, October 30. All non essential operations will be shut down; all essential (24/7 operations) personnel are required to report for their regular shift.

Businesses:

  • Bensalem TGI Friday's closed until at least 5 p.m. on Tuesday
  • Parx Racing has cancelled live racing for Tuesday

Closures for Monday, Oct. 29

Township:

  • Township Council's Monday Meeting has been cancelled. The next council meeting will be Nov. 5.
  • Public Safety Director Fred Harran said "township employees will report to work."

Schools:

  • At the advice of the Township Emergency Management Team, Bensalem Township Schools and Offices will be closed on Monday, Oct. 29.
  • Bucks County Head Start Inc.
  • Bucks County Technical High School
  • School Lane Charter School
  • Holy Ghost Prep Closed Monday and Tuesday. All offices closed.  All school activities cancelled.
  • St. Charles Borromeo: Closed Monday
  • Bucks County Community College
  • Holy Family University will be closed Monday (October 29) and Tuesday (October 30). This includes all locations including the Woodhaven campus.
  • Due to the severe weather expected to hit our area, Delaware Valley College will be closed on Monday and Tuesday.

County:

  • Bucks County Offices Closed Monday, October 29th. Essential (24/7) Personnel Must Report for Regular Shift
  • The Bucks County Courthouse and all county offices will be closed, Monday, October 29th, in anticipation of Hurricane Sandy. This includes the Bensalem Library.
  • All non essential operations will be shut down; all essential (24/7 operations) personnel are required to report for their regular shift.
  • The Bucks County Commissioners and the Bucks County Emergency Management Agency remind everyone to stay safe. Take precautions, and have a plan in place.
  • Due to safety concerns associated with Hurricane Sandy, PennDOT is closing photo-licensing centers in Philadelphia, Chester, Montgomery, Delaware and Bucks Counties on Monday, Oct. 29.

Business:

  • Parx Racing has cancelled live racing for Monday and Tuesday. The track expects to remain open for simulcast racing.
  • Oxford Valley Mall closed today.
  • Monday, October 29 Neshaminy Mall will be closed. At this time, Boscov's, Macy's and AMC will also be closed.
    Please check with Sears directly for their operating hours.
