Pet of the Week: Furry Ferrets

The Bucks County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is looking for a new home for Ace and Spade, two playful ferrets.

Each week Patch will feature an animal from the SPCA that needs a home.

In addition to kittens and dogs, the Bucks County SPCA also has small animals, such as rabbits, guinea pigs and ferrets.

Ace and Spade are two male ferrets that came to the shelter as strays. They have short sable and white colored hair. Both ferrets are neutered, and would make a great pet for someone who isn't ready for a large pet.

The shelter would prefer to have someone adopt Ace and Spade together since they spend all day playing and chasing each other around, but they would split them up if it was preferred.

If you're interested in the ferrets, or want to learn about other animals the shelter has for adoption, call 215-794-7425 or stop by.

The SPCA is located at 1665 Street Rd. in Lahaska. (If you use GPS, put New Hope as the city.)
