‘Soul Be It’ Gets Funky in Bensalem

Plays soul music to the local crowd.

Soul Be It, a R & B, soul and funk band from the New York area, played to a nice crowd Wednesday evening at the .

Singer Dennis Girmaldi said the band loved playing the local venue. He particularly liked the crowd.

“It’s a nutty group, it’s a crazy group,” he said. “They’re into the music, some of them are up there dancing and singing…We love it.”

When asked to describe the band’s sound, Girmaldi said three words: “power, energy and soul.”

Another singer Kelly Carpenter said the 12-piece band, which features five horns really has a good time on stage.

“It’s just a bunch of fun,” she said.
