What are your plans?

 

After a string of cold, rainy days and a big holiday, we’re in for a string of great weather this weekend.

Remember that on the heels of Black Friday comes Small Business Saturday, so after you support your favorite local establishment, take a break from your holiday shopping and enjoy the sunshine!

Why go: Santa arrives at 11 a.m. as part of the annual open house, which features food, wine samplings and live music.

Where/when: , 1134 Street Rd, Southampton, Sunday at 6 p.m.

Why go: End your weekend with some great blues, courtesy of Steve Guyger and the Excellos.

Where/when: in Ambler, Friday from 5 p.m. – 10 p.m.

Why go: The , a recent Hatboro-Horsham grad who died in a car crash in August, is establishing a scholarship fund in his memory. His favorite pizza place is donating all of the proceeds to that fund.

Cost: Depends how hungry you are.

Where/when:  1500 Desire Ave, Feasterville Trevose, Saturday, 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Why go: Children will learn a different craft from around the world. Many different types of artistic medium will be used. 

Cost: $12 for residents, $15 for non-residents

Where/when:  85 Holly Dr, Levittown, Friday, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Why go: So much going on! Bonfire, hearth cooking demonstrations, a huge train display, live period music and lots more.

Cost: $5, kids under 16 are free

Where/when:  1055 2nd Street Pike, Richboro, Friday, 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.

Why go: Relieve your Black Friday stress with the comforting music that made guys like Old Blue Eyes famous.

Cost: Free (no cover)

Where/when:  200 Neshaminy Mall, Bensalem, Saturday, noon to 3 p.m.

Why go: These dogs are incredible! Get to know them better and you might just consider rescuing one.

Cost: Free!

Where/when:  114 E Center Ave, Newtown, Saturday, 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.

Why go: A nice little break for you and the kids over the holiday weekend.
