7 Vie for 4 School Board Seats

An incumbent and six newcomers are competing for four Bensalem Township School Board seats.

Seven candidates are vying for four seats on the Republican-controlled nine-member Bensalem Township School Board. 

School board members serve for four-year terms.

With the exception of incumbent Kim Rivera, all of the contenders are newcomers. Jason Harris and Kiran Patel are also running on the Republican ticket. Jennifer Ryan is running as both a Republican and a Democrat after cross-filing and defeating Rizwan Khalik in the Primary Election.

Peter WaitzeEric Stern and Bill Nazzaro make up the Democrat slate.

Patch sent questionnaires to all candidates in order to post profiles on each candidate vying for a seat. Republican candidates did not respond to multiple requests sent through the Bensalem Republican Committee.
