Her essays and photos offer an intimate portrait of a county that’s known
throughout the world for its natural beauty and nurturing of the arts. She goes
beyond the iconic fieldstone houses and covered bridges to capture the magical
flavor of the region. Her essays explore the remnants of the county’s 330-year
history, showing how the present has roots in the past.
