Santa Lights Up Holiday TreeFest

Holiday TreeFest continues through Jan. 7 at Visit Bucks County in Bensalem.

Santa and Mrs. Claus joined several hundred people in leading the illumination of 25 uniquely decorated Christmas trees at Visit Bucks County Tuesday evening.

After arriving via fire truck to the visitor center, the jovial couple led the countdown to the trees' lighting–via magic dust sprinkled by Santa himself, of course.

The trees, which range from butterfly themed to Chik-fil-A, Cookie Monster and literally everything in between, will be on display through Jan. 7 as part of the eighth annual Bucks County Holiday TreeFest. Each tree is decorated by a local business or organization.

Guests can vote for their favorite tree while visiting the center, according to Visit Bucks County Spokeswoman Jessica Lawlor.

Kids can also deliver hand-written letters to Santa's in-house mailbox (which Jolly Old St. Nick will answer), she said.

Santa will be on hand for photos with kids on Sunday, as well as Dec. 8 and Dec. 15 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. On Dec. 15, Santa will stick around until 4 p.m. to take photos with pets.
