Lakewood, N.J. - Juniors Rachael Alligood (Levittown, Pa./Harry S. Truman) and AnnMarie Dalton (Northampton, Pa./Northampton Area) received All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) honors when the conference office announced this year's Softball All-CACC teams at the annual awards banquet at Georgian Court's Wellness Center Arena Wednesday night.  Both Alligood and Dalton were named All-CACC Honorable Mention.

Dalton is earning All-CACC honors for the first time in her career after compiling a career-year statistically.  She is hitting a career-high .307 through the regular season and has a team-high 39 hits, including eight doubles.  Dalton also leads the team with a career-high six home runs, which is tied for fourth most in the CACC this season.  In addition, she has totaled 21 runs, 20 RBI and holds an on-base percentage of .371.

Defensively, Dalton has committed a career-low three errors in the outfield this season for a fielding percentage of .919.   She also has two outfield assists to increase her career total to 12.

Dalton will enter the CACC Tournament two hits shy of reaching the 100 hit mark of her career.  She currently has 98 career hits to go along with a career batting average of .278.

Holy Family (24-22), seeded sixth in this year's CACC Tournament, will face third-seeded Wilmington University (32-18) at 12 p.m. on Thursday, May 2 during day one of the conference tournament.  Georgian Court University will serve as host for the entire tournament.
