Ezell Named to CACC All-Tournament Team

Philadelphia, Pa. - Junior guard Ervin Ezell (Deptford, N.J./Deptford High) was named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men's Basketball All-Tournament team as announced by the conference office at the conclusion of this year's CACC Tournament this past Saturday night.
 
In two games, Ezell averaged 22.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 6.0 assists per game.  He shot 15-of-28 (.536) from the field and converted 11-of-17 free throw attempts.  Ezell also blocked a shot and tallied five steals on the defensive end.  In the semifinals versus Bloomfield College, Ezell scored a game-high 23 points after shooting 8-of-13 from the field.  He also tallied three assists and two steals. 
 
In his first season with Holy Family, Ezell earned All-CACC first team honors as he led the team in scoring with 16.9 points per game.  He currently ranks among the conference leaders in scoring, assists and steals.  His 83 steals this season is currently eighth most in Division II.
 
Holy Family finished the season with an 18-10 overall record and 13-4 in the CACC.  The team's 13 conference victories were the most since the 2007-08 season.  As a result, the Tigers claimed their first-ever CACC South Division Regular Season title.  Holy Family previously shared regular season titles in 2006-07 and 2004-05 before the conference switched to division play in 2007-08.
