Philadelphia, Pa. - The Holy Family University women's volleyball team picked up a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) victory after defeating Chestnut Hill College by the score of 3-0 Wednesday night at Sorgenti Area. 
 
Holy Family, winners of three straight, improve to 6-13 overall and 4-4 in conference play, while Chestnut Hill falls to 6-12 overall and 2-5 in the CACC.
 
Holy Family took the match in three straight sets winning by the score of 25-19, 25-20 and 25-17.
 
Sophomore Devyn Ingram (King of Prussia, Pa./Upper Merion) and freshman Emma Herring (Newtown, Conn./Newtown) led the Holy Family attack combining for 28 kills.  Ingram finished with 14 kills and four digs, while Herring tallied 14 kills, three block assists and five service aces. 
 
Senior Cara Przybylowicz (Ridley Park, Pa./Ridley) contributed seven kills and seven digs, while freshman Charlotte Sabatano (Fredrick, Md./Gov. Thomas Johnson) added six kills, nine digs and three service aces.  Junior Chelsea Keegan (Bucyrus, Ohio/Colonel Crawford) led the match with 39 set assists to go along with five digs. 
 
For Chestnut Hill, freshman Rachel Biro led the team with nine kills, while recording a match-best .571 attack percentage.  Junior Alexandra DePalma finished with eight kills and 11 digs.  Sophomore Alyssa Tamsing recorded 27 set assists.
 
Holy Family is back in action on Friday, Oct. 5 as the Tigers host Wilmington University in a CACC contest.  Match time is slated for 7 p.m.
