New Haven, Conn. - Holy Family University women's basketball senior forward Erin Mann (West Chester, Pa./Villa Maria Academy) was named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending Feb. 3 as announced by the conference office Monday night.

This marks the third time this season that Mann has been recognized as the conference's Player of the Week and the fifth time in her career.  She was previously recognized for the week ending Jan. 1 and Nov. 18 this season.

Mann helped lead the Tigers to a pair of conference road victories this past week as the team extended their current winning streak to seven games.  Holy Family began the week with an 80-56 victory at Wilmington University on Tuesday and then capped the week with a 75-63 victory at Post University on Saturday.

For the week, Mann averaged 23.0 points and 6.5 rebounds per game, while shooting an impressive .792-percent from the field (19-24).   Mann scored 19 points (8-9 FG) and grabbed six rebounds at Wilmington and followed that up with a 27-point performance at Post.  She shot 11-of-15 from the field to go along with seven rebounds, three blocks and three steals.

This season, Mann leads the CACC in shooting percentage (56.4) and total blocks (60).  She is also ranked second in scoring (18.1), ninth in total rebounds (169) and tenth in rebounds per game (8.0).

Holy Family, ranked eighth in the recent USA Today/ESPN NCAA Division II National Top-25 Coaches' Poll, is currently 19-2 overall and 13-1 in the CACC.  The Tigers currently hold a one game lead over Goldey-Beacom College (12-2) in the CACC South Division.

Holy Family is back in action on Wednesday, Feb. 6 as the Tigers host cross-town rival Philadelphia University in a CACC contest.  Game time is slated for 6 p.m.
