Holy Family concludes the regular season with a 24-22 overall record, while Bridgeport wraps up its regular season at 18-32 overall.

Game One: Bridgeport 8, Holy Family 7

In the opener, Bridgeport jumped out to a commanding 5-0 lead after a five-run second inning.  The Purple Knights scored five runs off six hits in the inning, including a two-run single by sophomore Sydney Phillips to cap the inning.

Holy Family got on the board in the third inning after junior AnnMarie Dalton (Northampton, Pa./Northampton Area) hit her team leading sixth home run of the season.  Dalton's solo shot over the left field fence made the score 5-1.

In the fourth, Holy Family rallied for a five-run inning to take a 6-5 lead.  The first four batters in the inning reached base for the Tigers, including a run scoring infield hit by freshman Kristine Casey (Newark, Del./Caravel) to drive in the first run of the inning.  As the inning progressed, Dalton came through with a three-run double to give the Tigers a 6-5 advantage.  Dalton finished the game 2-for-3 at the plate to go along with four RBI.

Holy Family added another run in the fifth after freshman Alexis Daubert (Stratford, N.J./Sterling) hit her first career home run of her career to give the Tigers a 7-5 lead.

However, in the bottom of the seventh inning, Bridgeport rallied to score three runs, including a walk-off single by sophomore Morgan Dunn to give the Purple Knights an 8-7 victory.  With one out and runners at second and third, Dunn singled to center field scoring both runners.

Game Two: Holy Family 4, Bridgeport 3

In game two, Holy Family broke a 3-3 tie in the seventh inning to pick up its 24th victory of the season.  With two outs in the inning, freshman Claudia Boggi (West Chester, Pa./Bishop Shanahan) connected on her first career home run to give the Tigers a 4-3 lead with a solo shot to left field.

In the bottom half of the inning, Bridgeport got the tying run on base after Phillips was hit by a pitch. However, junior Rachael Alligood (Levittown, Pa./Harry S. Truman) closed out the game for the Tigers without allowing the game-tying run reach the plate to tie the game.  Alligood pitched three innings of relief to earn her eighth victory of the season.  She allowed zero hits and struck out two in her three innings of work.

Holy Family scored three runs in the fourth inning to take a 3-1 lead, before the Purple Knights followed with two runs of their own to tie the game at 3-3.

Daubert, who hit her first career homer in game one, came through with her second home run on the day to start the run scoring for the Tigers.  After junior Samantha Borrelli (West Berlin, N.J./Overbrook) drew a walk, senior Lindsey Iden (Rushland, Pa./Council Rock North) connected on her second home run of the season to cap the inning with a two-run shot.  Iden finished the game 2-for-2 at the plate to go along with two RBI.
