BOX SCORE

Philadelphia, Pa. - The Holy Family University women's soccer team recorded a 4-0 shutout victory over visiting Molloy College in the team's regular season finale Thursday afternoon at Tiger Field.

Holy Family wraps up the regular season with an 8-10-0 overall record, while Molloy is now 4-10-1 overall.

The Tigers will now get ready for this weekend's Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Tournament, which is now slated to start on Sunday, Oct. 28 due to the incoming inclement weather that is supposed to hit the east coast.  Holy Family wrapped up conference play with a 7-5-0 record and earned the sixth seed in this year's tournament.  The Tigers will travel to face third-seeded Caldwell College on Sunday for a 12 p.m. quarterfinal contest.

The Holy Family offense exploded for four goals in the victory, scoring a pair in each half.  Senior Megan Tole (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) gave the Tigers an early 1-0 lead after scoring her 13th goal of the season after receiving a pass from freshman Jenna Richards (Croydon, Pa./Conwell Egan).  Tole's tally tied her career-high for goals in the season.  She tallied 13 scores in 2010 as a sophomore.

Minutes later, Richards came through with a goal of her own to double the Tigers' lead at 2-0.  Richards received a pass from senior Katie Maguire (Philadelphia, Pa./Saint Huberts) and made a cross shot from the far left into an empty net after the Molloy goalie came out to challenge the shot.

Holy Family led 2-0 heading into halftime and would go on to tack on another pair of goals in the second half.  Junior Luteisha Shelton (Kingston, Jamaica/Harcum College) scored her first career goal at Holy Family in the 58th minute and Richards capped the scoring in the 67th minute for her second score of the game.

Sophomore Jordan Harwood (Arkport, N.Y./Arkport Central), who was making her first career start in net for the Tigers, recorded a shutout after facing 13 shots by Molloy.  Harwood tallied six saves in net, while her counterpart, Tricia Zarro, made five stops after facing 20 shots by the Tigers.
