Community Update

Extremely Poor. This slum is run by the Lafonge Associates: George Karasick, Susan Lee and Harry Reider. They employ 2 property managers and office staff to run a clutch of the filthiest, dirtiest residential hovels ever seen in industrialized countries. These people are THE quintessential 'slumlords'. I am paying $965.00/month for a 736 square foot, one bedroom apartment, with the roof caving in on top of me. There is so much mold on the ceiling there are slimy, stalagtites dripping down. They refuse to fix the roofs, but offer to paint over the water stains if they ever dry but it has been two years and it is never dry. I work 60-80 hours a week, but my neighbors are all on welfare housing, none of them work and they keep me up all night, going in and out of the door, every hour on the hour, to smoke cigarettes and/or walk the barking dogs - all night - even at 3:30 and 4am. Since the buildings are very old and not maintained, all the insulation around the windows is deteriorated and the heating/air conditioning is over $300.00/month. Not to mention you can hear every breath and fart your surrounding neighbors make. I cannot urge the reader strongly enough to shun any property managed by the OXFORD REALTY GROUP - Lafonge associates (criminals).
