This year the quilts are stitched by Bucks County residents who attended classes at The Quilting Academy, which opened in May 2011. As visitors enter the show, they will be able to gaze upon an old-fashioned American hobby that has lasted throughout the years. The attention to detail and hard work of the artists comes across instantly at the sight of the various themes and patterns of the quilts. The Bucks County Quilt Show is presented by Visit Bucks County, the official tourism promotion agency of Bucks County, and The Quilting Academy.
While attending the quilt show, visitors will be able to learn more about each individual quilt, the inspirations behind the designs and the artist who created it through an available brochure. Visitors will also have the opportunity to vote for their favorite quilt by filling out the “Viewer’s Choice” ballot provided at the show.
