Visit Bucks County Launches “Capture Your #BucksCountyMoment” Photo Contest

Visit Bucks County is at it again with its award-winning social media initiatives! They have launched their newest social media campaign, "Capture Your #BucksCountyMoment" Photo Contest.

Visit Bucks County, the official tourism promotion agency of Bucks County, is at it again with its award-winning social media initiatives! After two successful years of social gaming, the tourism office is launching its newest social media campaign, “Capture Your #BucksCountyMoment” Photo Contest.

Launched on Memorial Day, visitors and locals are encouraged to post photos and capture their favorite moments on one of the trendiest social media sites, Instagram. An emphasis is being placed on the photo-sharing site due to its growing popularity and the regularity at which people now post pictures online. According to Pew Research Center, 82% of people use cell phones to take photos. The contest runs through Labor Day.

“In the fast-paced society that we live in, we’ve become a very visual culture.”  Says Paul Bencivengo, marketing & communications director, “Photography drives more and more of our conversation online and we are hoping people will share their experiences in Bucks County through pictures to excite potential visitors.”
