Parading into the Fourth of July
· 2nd Annual Fourth of July Parade 7/4, 9 a.m. at Veterans Memorial Park
Start your morning with a booming beginning of a 21-gun salute and enter your float into the decorating contest to showcase your American pride.
· Annual Tri-Municipal Fourth of July Parade 7/4, 9:30 a.m. in Chalfont
Feast your eyes on impeccable specialty cars and creative floats made by your neighbors in New Britain Township!
· Lower Southampton Township Parade 7/4, 1 p.m. in Southampton
Celebrate “America’s Family Heroes” featuring Philadelphia Eagles Pep Band, a motorcycle drill team, unique antique vehicles and even a horse drawn wagon.
Fireworks Spectaculars
·Quakertown Fireworks 7/4, 9 p.m. at Memorial Park
Take a refreshing swim at the Quakertown Community Pool on Saturday and spend Sunday enjoying the catchy tunes of the Bosslady Band!
· Sesame Place 7/4, 9:25 p.m. at Sesame Place
Join Elmo and friends for enchanting fireworks and the highly anticipated “Neighborhood Street Party” parade at 9 p.m.
· Southampton Days 7/4, 9:35 p.m. at Tamanend Park
Before the fireworks, take part in competitive games and fast-paced amusement rides at the Southampton Days 42nd Annual County Fair held from July 1-6 at 6 p.m.
· Friday Night Fireworks 7/5, 9:30 p.m. in New Hope
Bear witness to a fireworks spectacular above the serene Delaware River every Friday!
· Newtown’s Annual Independence Day Celebration, First Fourth 7/6, 9:30 p.m.
Held every year on the first Saturday in July, the fireworks spectacular will be located at Newtown Junior High facing Tyler State Park.
· The 41st Annual Pennridge Community Day 7/9, 9:15 p.m. at Lake Lenape Park
Get active with various outdoor activities featuring an intense volleyball match, a competitive canoe race and a playful outing at the Perkasie Dog Park!
