Embrace the autumn air with these upcoming fall festivities in Bucks County!. It is the time of year to sample your favorite pumpkin pie, decorate a towering scarecrow and be startled with haunting surprises!

Here’s a preview of all the fun just waiting to be had in Bucks County this fall:

·         Celebrate Halloween with your favorite characters at The Count’s Halloween Spooktacular at Sesame Place! From September 28-October 27, bring the family for not-too-scary fun featuring themed mazes, magical Halloween performances and a hayride.

·         Find all your Halloween staples at Shady Brook Farm’s Fall Fest. Get creative and carve your own pumpkin at PumpkinFest, then head over for a night of chills and thrills at Horrorfest. Tip-toe your way through the Barn of Horror and experience the 3-D Alien Encounter for an unforgettable fright night!

·         Discover sweet treats and towering scarecrows in the midst of an 18th-century inspired shopping village at Peddler’s Village. On September 21 and 22, revel in the brisk autumn air while building your own scarecrow and indulging in a pumpkin pie eating contest at the Scarecrow Festival. Enjoy everything apple at the Apple Festival held on November 2 and 3! View the scarecrows September 9 through October 27.

·         Expose yourself to the ghostly tales and spooky sounds of Bucks County! Test your bravery throughout the 17-room property at the House in the Hollow and experience a haunting hayride through the Field of Fright. To continue the frightening fun, discover the historic hauntings of a local town during the Ghost Tours of New Hope.

·         Explore a 300-year-old Quaker village at Historic Fallsington Day. On October 12, visitors will be surrounded by lively demonstrations, Colonial and Native American dancers, a puppet show, food, folklore and more. ·         Cheers to 10 years! Join Crossing Vineyards and Winery for a special 10th Anniversary weekend celebration September 20 through 22. Some highlights of the weekend include an outdoor concert, cork counting contest, Not So Newlywed Game, Gala Winemaker’s Dinner and the release of a unique 10th Anniversary Edition Chardonnay “Legacy.”

·         Brace yourselves, for high royalty is coming to Bucks County! The James A. Michener Art Museum in Doylestown is opening a Grace Kelly exhibit on October 28 to honor the Philadelphia-native with a showcase of her iconic belongings and accomplishments including her Oscar for her role in “The Country Girl.”
