Edgar J. Sullivan of Huntingdon Valley, formerly of Bensalem, died suddenly on Monday at Abington Memorial Hospital. He was 79.

Sullivan was a self-employed real estate broker. He served in the Army during the Korean War. He loved being with family and also enjoyed boating, fishing and crabbing.

He is survived by his wife, Anne M. (nee) Friel Sullivan; four children, Veronica "Ronni" Transue (Mark); Daniel"Dan" Sullivan (Gina); Shannon T. Valentine (Jim) and Joseph Sullivan (Jennifer) and a sister, Veronica Clark. He was the proud grandfather of 11 grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Tomlinson Funeral Home, P.C., 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, followed by a funeral mass at noon at St. Ephrem Church, 5400 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
