Jerry Iwaniuch, of Bensalem died Dec. 2 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was 79.
Iwaniuch was born in Sokal, Poland and came to the United States at age 17. He learned the home building trade while working in Levittown. He went on to own his own construction company for 40 years. He enjoyed boating on the Delaware and was a true lover of animals.
He is survived by his wife, Helga Krohn Iwaniuch; brother, Senon (Monica); sister-in-law, Ottilia Brand (Elmar); brother-in-law, Norbert Krohn (Barbara); nieces, Heidi Ebright (Gene) and Elise Brand (Tony); and father-in-law; Phillip Gordon.
Family and friends are invited to attend his memorial gathering from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday at the Fluehr Funeral Home, 864 Bristol Pike in Bensalem. His funeral service will be at 1 p.m. with Pastor Owen Griffiths officiating. Interment will be held privately.
