Bancroft's Josefina Nash of Cherry Hill Honored by Philadelphia SmartCEO at its Annual Executive Management Awards Ceremony

Josefina Nash, vice president for information technology at Haddonfield-based Bancroft, was one of 40 Greater Philadelphia executives recognized for their creative management vision, leadership philosophy, innovative strategy and undeniable work ethic at the Philadelphia SmartCEO Executive Management Awards on March 27 at The Merion in Cinnaminson, N.J.

Nash joined Bancroft, a leading provider of programs and supports for children and adults with autism, acquired brain injuries, and varied intellectual and developmental disabilities, in October 2011, as the nonprofit’s vice president for information technology. The Cherry Hill resident brought more than 15 years of progressive information-systems experience in commercial, nonprofit and government sectors to the organization.

Much of Nash’s career prior to her role at Bancroft was spent in the field of biotechnology, working as director of information systems for the Coriell Institute for Medical Research in Camden, N.J., for 10 years. Most recently, she was the director, IT operations, at TAI Software, where she focused on health care, including the implementation of an electronic medical record. Since coming to Bancroft, Nash executed the integration of a similar system within the 131-year-old direct-care provider. She earned her Master of Science degree from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers University.

“The way that our technology enables our competitive advantage is around mobility, and it’s around being able to provide services anywhere, any place, anytime,” Nash said at the awards presentation.
