Women Come Together at Oxford Valley Mall: Shopping Center Hosts Weekend Dedicated to Women

Oxford Valley Mall will be hosting an exciting woman’s day dedicated to moms and women on Saturday, October 5. From an exhilarating charity Zumbathon in the morning to a special pampering event in the afternoon, the local shopping center will be a hotspot for women in our area to come together and have fun.

The Zumbathon for Breast Cancer will take place from 10:00 a.m. to noon in the Sears Court. Sponsored by The Walking Company, attendees will be able to dance and get fit to great music while supporting a great cause. Net proceeds from the event will benefit the Zumba® Global Research Grant for Breast Cancer Prevention. Pre-registration costs are $10 and day-of registration will be $15. Following suit, Oxford Valley and 95.7 BEN-FM will team up to host the 2nd annual Mom’s Rock Expo, presented by Philly Gyros, New Hope Academy and Motivational Educational Training Company (METC), Inc., from noon to 3:00 p.m. Hosted by top radio personality, Marilyn Russell, the event drew hundreds of attendees last year and is shaping up to be bigger and better than ever on October 5. 

Featuring activities aimed to pamper women and moms, this free event will have fashion and beauty product samplings, exclusive retailer deals, goodie bag giveaways to the first 500 registrants and much more. Mom’s Rock Expo is supported by the Nazareth Academy High School and Attleboro Retirement Village.
