13-Year-Old Charged in Thursday Arson Fire

There were no injuries in the Thursday fire, which displaced nearly 30 residents.

A 13-year-old boy has been charged with starting an arson fire Thursday at the Bensalem Court Apartments, according to the Bucks County Courier Times.

There were no injuries in the fire, which displaced nearly 30 residents. Those residents were assisted by the American Red Cross.

Shortly after the fire, Bensalem investigators announced it was a suspected arson.

The 13-year-old has not been identified by authorizes and it is not clear if he lives in the apartment complex. He is being charged as a juvenile and was sent to the Edison Juvenile Detention Center in Doylestown, the Courier Times reported.
