2 Bank Robberies, 1 Robber Caught by Bensalem Police

Police say one man was caught but another one is on the loose after two bank robberies in Bensalem on Tuesday.

Bensalem police report two unrelated bank robberies on Tuesday.

A man who tried to rob TD Bank at 2751 Street Road was chased in Parx Casino and caught, police said. He jumped the counter at the bank at 2:10 p.m. and grabbed an undisclosed amount of money. A dye pack exploded as he was fleeing.

Also, a man robbed Fulton Bank at 2100 Street Road at 12:50 p.m. Police said he presented a demand note indicating he had a gun and fled with an undisclosed amount of money.
