2 Charged in Alleged Prescription Drug Sale

Police say a Trevose woman and a Levittown woman conspired to sell prescription drugs to a police informant.

Two Bucks County women are facing felony charges in connection with an alleged scheme to sell prescription drugs.

Jeanine A. Passaretti, 42, of Island Road in Levittown and Aimee Clark, 38 of Holly Drive in Trevose, were charged on Oct. 1 in connection with selling 100 Xanax pills to an informant, according to Bensalem Police.

According to court documents, police provided the informant with $200 to purchase the drugs, which according to police, were prescribed to Passaretti and allegedly given to Clark to sell.

Following the July 10 alleged drug deal in a parking lot at 1545 Street Road in Bensalem, both Clark and Passaretti were taken into custody. Police said cocaine and a straw were found in Passaretti’s possession and two pills, two crack rocks and a crack pipe were found in Clark’s purse.

Passaretti was charged with a felony count of possession with intent to deliver, as well as three misdemeanor counts of possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia, possession of a counterfeit substance and criminal conspiracy.

Clark was charged with a felony count related to her alleged conspiracy to sell a controlled substance, as well as three misdemeanor charges of criminal conspiracy, possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled or counterfeit substance.

Passaretti and Clark are free, each posting $10,000 unsecured bail. They await a preliminary hearing in District Judge Leonard Brown’s court later this month.
