2 Philadelphia Men Charged with Heroin Dealing

Bensalem Police arrested two men in connection with an alleged drug deal at the Knights Inn.

Two Philadelphia men are facing felony drug-dealing charges after allegedly attempting to sell heroin at a Bensalem hotel.

Wilmen A Perez, 40, of the 500 block of East Cheltenham Avenue and Anthony Fowler, 40, of the 300 block of North Edgewood Street, were arrested on Wednesday and charged with a felony count of possession with intent to deliver heroin, as well as a misdemeanor charge of possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia stemming from their alleged involvement in the sale of five bundles of heroin valued at $600.

Perez had allegedly arranged the drug deal with a police informant, according to the affidavit of probable cause. The transaction took place at Knights Inn in Trevose, according to court documents.

Fowler used his car to transport Perez for the alleged drug deal, court records say and had reportedly admitted to police that Perez paid him $40 in gas money and promised him another $30 after the deal was made.

Perez and Fowler are being held in the Bucks County Correctional Facility in lieu of 10 percent of $25,000 bail each. They await a preliminary hearing next month.
