Bensalem Man Stole Seven Truck Tires, Police Say

A Bensalem man broke into a Bristol commercial property and stole seven tires off four trucks, according to Bristol Township police.

Jason Parker, 26, of the 2800 block of Kate Avenue has been arrested on 14 felony counts of theft and related offenses. According to court documents, video surveillance showed Parker breaking into the parking lot of Stanley Stephens Co. on June 3.

Police say the video shows Parker taking seven Goodyear truck tires off four box trucks parked on the property. Three independent witnesses identified Parker from the surveillance photos, according to the report.

Parker has been confined to Bucks County prison, unable to post bond on $50,000 bail. His preliminary hearing has been tentatively scheduled for August 21 before District Judge Joanne Klein.
