Bensalem Man Violates Open Burning Ordinance
Bensalem Police Department released a blotter including a citation for violating a township ordinance, retail theft and more.
A Bensalem man was cited for violating a township ordinance, according to a recent police blotter.
On Thursday, Jan. 3, a 33-year-old resident of the 1200 block of Kings Lane in Bensalem was charged with a violation of a township ordinance that prohibits open burning. He will receive a citation.
In addition to the open burning violation, Bensalem Township Police Department also arrested a 45-year-old New Hope man on an outstanding warrant. The man was arrested on the 3100 block of Knights Road and was turned over to the Bucks County Sheriff's Department, the blotter said.

An arrest for retail theft was also made on Jan. 3. Police arrested a 45-year-old Philadelphia man at Macy's Department Store in Neshaminy Mall and charged him with retail theft. The man will receive a summons.
