I first want to say that I pray Mr. Rivera recovers soon, and that the genuine cause of this accident is found. This is the second time someone has been hit there. The area of Street Rd. (From Hooters on down.) is extremely dangerous, and too many people are getting severely hurt or killed becuse of crossing areas that are heavily trafficked(sp) with cars, especially at 8:35PM on a friday night. What makes this worse, is that this had to occur a week before Christmas.:'(

It is a sad thing. But before I say anything, my question is Was he in a cross walk? Because from what I am understanding he wasnt.

I don't think there are any in that area, but I could be wrong. I do know that there are traffic lights in that vicinity, so there may be one.

The gentleman was not in a crosswalk (there isn't one there, nor is there a streetlight, a traffic light, or a sidewalk). The cause of the accident, per the police report, is a pedestrian's failure to yeild. This is sad for all involved.

I just wanted everyone to know that I have changed my medication and everything is better for now. I'm sorry for everything I have said. You are all great and wonderful people. Wendy

TY for the info Lydia. I happened to go by there today, and you are correct. Bottom line, it is very sad for all involved. I pray he (Mr. Rivera) is getting better. @ Wendy S: TY for the good laugh. I haven't had such a good laugh in a LONG time. Let's see you continue after you have been reported for impersonating myself.
