Bensalem Police Nab Suspected Bank Robber

He was located in a Route 1 motel.

On July 31, Bensalem police arrested suspected bank robbery suspect, John Digman.

According to a release, Bensalem Officer Chris Grayo was patrolling the Route 1 corridor when he found that Digman was staying at a motel in 2200 block of Lincoln Highway.

Police made contact with the suspect who failed to obey officers commands and retreated into a room. Officers attempted to arrest Digman who refused to comply. Bensalem K-9 Cpl. James McGinty released his partner Axel, who was able to detain Digman until police secure him.

Digman was turned over the FBI Philadelphia Division. The FBI had warrants for Digman after he was identified as the suspect in multiple bank robberies.
