Bensalem Police Reunite Missing Autistic Woman with Family

Officers had difficulty communicating with the woman and asked the public for help identifying her.

A 23-year-old autistic woman has been reunited with her family after Bensalem police found her running down the street in front of the Dunkin Donuts on Bristol Road.

Janetta Graham was picked up by Bensalem officers Sunday morning, but her limited communication made it difficult for the police to identify her. After sending an alert sent out to the media, NBC 10 reporter John Taylor contacted the police and said her description matched a missing person's report released by Philadelphia police.

After getting in touch with her family, Graham returned home Sunday night. According to NBC 10, Taylor has been nominated by Bensalem Police Department for a civilian award for his assistance.
