Stabbing Nets Man 2 to 4 Years

A homeless man was sentenced after pleading guilty to stabbing a man.

A homeless man charged in June with stabbing a man who tried to stop him from breaking into cars in Bensalem was sentenced to two to four years behind bars on Monday, according to the Bucks County Courier Times.

Michael Bell, 46, who pleaded guilty to aggravated assault in Bucks County Court, according to the newspaper, had been breaking into vehicles along Street Road and Mechanicsville Road before the victim approached him, police had said. After stabbing the Bensalem man, police said Bell ran off, toward the Giant Shopping Center.

He was apprehended soon after while walking in the Creekside Apartment complex.
