Bicyclist Killed After Crashing into Tractor Trailer
The accident closed a section of Galloway Road for four hours Wednesday afternoon.
A woman traveling on her bicycle was killed when she crashed her bike into the rear tire of a tractor trailer exiting the race track stables on Galloway Road in Bensalem Wednesday afternoon.
Emergency personnel closed Galloway Road between Richlieu and Mechanicsville roads for four hours to investigate the accident.
According to a police statement, the tractor trailer was exiting the gate and stopped before turning onto Galloway. The victim was also traveling toward the entrance when she struck the rear tire. Police say she died from her injuries.
