Bucks Against Gun Violence Rallies Saturday

On Saturday at noon hundreds who favor new gun control laws are expected to rally at the Bucks County Courthouse.

Since the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut, guns and gun control have been on the nation’s conscience.

While some groups, such as the Concerned Gun Owners of Bucks County, gather behind fewer controls, others, such as Bucks Against Gun Violence, rally to support new gun control laws.

Bucks Against Gun Violence will rally at the Bucks County Courthouse at noon Saturday.

Some members are gun owners, according to a Phillyburbs.com blog. Bucks Against Gun Violence respects the country’s time-honored hunting tradition, they just want universal background checks and a ban military-style automatic weapons.

The rally Saturday is to also focus a letter-writing campaign to Congressman Mike Fitzpatrick.
