Cash Taken in Langhorne Doughnut Shop Burglary

The Dunkin' Donuts in the Langhorne section of Middletown was hit be thieves on Thursday night.

 

Police in Middletown are investigating the burglary of a busy doughnut shop in the Langhorne section of the township.

According to authorities, the burglars made entry to the Dunkin' Donuts in the 600 block of West Maple Avenue in Langhorne at 10:16 p.m. Tuesday night. The side door to the building was found pried open.

Once inside the store, the thieves made their way to cash register and took two draws filled with an undetermined amount of money, police said.

The robbery happened after the shop was closed.

The store, which is fairly new, is located on the corner of West Maple Avenue and Old Lincoln Highway. Parking is often hard to find at the busy location during weekday mornings.
