Dirt Bike Crashes into State Police Cruiser on I-95

The following information was provided by the Pennsylvania State Police Trevose station. It does not imply conviction.

 

On July 22 at 7:12 p.m., responded to a report of several ATVs traveling recklessly on I-95 northbound at milepost 41.1 in Middletown Township.

When police arrived, a red dirt bike traveling north in the right lane crossed all lanes of travel and into the grassy median where he struck a marked State Police vehicle that was sitting in the cross over area.

Police said the dirt bike operator, Malcolm K. Peck, 20, of Upper Darby, sustained minor neck and back injuries and was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital. Trooper Geerlof, who was in the police vehicle, wasn’t injured.

Peck faces reckless endangering charges.
