Drowned Woman's Sons Sue Party Host

The civil suit asks for monetary compensation.

The sons of Jean Carson, the woman who drowned after falling into Neshaminy Creek while attending a party on Dec. 19, are seeking compensation from the party's host.

Robert and David Carson filed a wrongful death civil suit in Bucks County about a week ago that seeks to collect more than $50,000 from party host Edward Brodecki, according to a story on PhillyBurbs.com.

The suit says the between the bench and the edge of a drop off to the creek is unguarded by any barrier or railing “and otherwise affords no protection by way of separation from the waterway,” the story says.
