FBI, Philly Police Search for Bank Robber

Suspect robbed the Citizens Bank near Academy and Red Lion roads in the Northeast.

 

The FBI/Philadelphia Police Violent Crimes Task Force is looking for the man who robbed a Northeast Philadelphia bank yesterday morning.

At 9:53 a.m., an unknown male entered the Citizens Bank located at 3200 Red Lion Road and approached a teller armed with a handgun demanding money. After taking an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction.

This bank is just a mile or so from Bensalem.            

The suspect is described as a white male in his 30s with a medium build, wearing a yellow shirt, dark colored shorts and an Eagles hat.
