FBI Seeks Armed Serial Robber Suspected of 8 Bucks, Montgomery Robberies

A suspect's alleged robbery spree began in Horsham Township and has led to at least seven more robberies in Bucks and Montgomery counties in less than a month, according to the FBI.

The FBI is seeking information leading to the identification of an armed serial robber suspected of eight robberies in Bucks and Montgomery counties. 

The armed robber, who is described as a white man in his 30s, approximately 5'10”-6' tall, with a medium build and brown hair is suspected of at least eight robberies in the last three and a half weeks, according to authorities. 

He’s frequently been seen with facial hair or stubble and has been known to wear a red Phillies cap, a black jacket with a light-colored stripe across the chest, a green baseball cap with a pink brim, and a blue hooded sweatshirt, according to authorities. He’s also been known to carry a green recyclable bag in which he puts the stolen money, the FBI said.

The man is suspected in at least eight recent robberies:

  • 10/21 - Saladworks, 314 Horsham Road in Horsham
  • 10/22 – Lukoil, 3401 W. Moreland Road, Upper Moreland Township
  • 10/24 – Jimmy John’s, 3612 Welsh Road, Upper Dublin Township
  • 10/25 – Bank of America inside Giant Food, 1121 Bethlehem Pike, Lower Gwynedd Township
  • 11/1 – Bank of America inside Weis Market, 25 West Germantown Pike, East Norriton
  • 11/7 – PNC Bank inside Giant Food, 760 Route 113, Hilltown Township
  • 11/8 – Citizens Bank inside ACME, 505 W. Butler Avenue, New Britain Township
  • 11/12 – Bank of America inside Giant Food, 1121 Bethlehem Pike, Lower Gwynedd Township (attempted robbery)

The man has displayed a handgun at several of the robberies and has been observed in a silver four-door sedan at multiple robbery scenes.

He is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information about him is urged to call the FBI at215-641-8910. There may be a reward for information leading to this subject’s capture; tipsters can remain anonymous.
