Funeral Procession to Cause Long Delays on Street Road Today
From 1 p.m. today, Street Road will be closed from I-95 through Hulmeville Road for the funeral procession of Philly Police Officer Brian Lorenzo. Expect major delays.
The burial of Philadelphia Police Officer is today at , 5201 Hulmeville Road, immediately following a noon Mass in the city.
Street Road will be closed from I-95 to Hulmeville Road, and Hulmeville Road will be closed from Street Road to Gibson Road from 1pm to at least 5pm. Expect major delays.
Lorenzo was killed in a traffic accident on I-95 early Sunday morning. He was travelling on his police motorcycle southbound near Cottman Avenue when an allegedly drunk driver struck him head on going the wrong way. The driver was John Leck Jr., 48, of Levittown.
